Rare Antique
Is it rare? is vintage or antique?
I do not know many antique and vintage, but I know that this butter dish is quite old. I his brass. You can say that in recent years, rusting metal, it is darker on the points. I found a house that is now Historic Sites. I want to know by whom and when. The only problem is that theres no sign, no name or symbol. Nothing. The only clue I have is that the handle (handle used for lifting) is the shape of a pineapple. Can anyone tell me what company you use pineapple as a design? This seems quite old and if you know anything or anywhere I can find anything online, can you give me a link where I can do for myself. (for comparison)
It is almost impossible to know anything about his dish. You should take a good antique dealer in your area. At least could throw the ball rolling. They May be able to give a general idea. One could say where it may be possible to further investigation. Good luck!
