Since the 1840a € ™ s up to the 1920th € ™ s beginning, some of the most beautiful dolls ever created, have been made in Germany.
The earliest dolls, often referred to as Parian (biscuit ie undyed) were created in factories pottery famous Copenhagen and Dresden. These dolls had beautifully delicate molded, including not only faces, but their hair and often with molded ribbons, bows, snood, flowers and sometimes a collar. Delicate exacting colorations made every one of these dolls a work of art. These dolls are rare and precious.
Its popularity peaked in the late € ™ s 1870A, and may be dated by their hairstyles. Paros Bisque led to the more common China Head Dolls. These dolls were mass produced and have a glossy finish on the soup plain undyed. These dolls ranged in size from small dolls € 1A high Frozen Charlotte type larger than € 24 a. These dolls were most popular between 1860 and 1900, as a cheaper alternative the last doll fashion color biscuit bisque that was becoming increasingly popular and accessible. In the early 1890th ™ € doll manufacturers s Germans began mass producing many lovely quality dolls that began to rival the quality of the dolls from France.
Dolls began to be modeled by real children. Emotions and expressions became visible. The period of famous face œdolly TypeA € â € was born.
These beautiful dolls Dolly was traditionally a face to € € œsleep eyes to open and close, set the head carefully with plaster. The eyes are blown glass by hand.
