What on earth could feel like dirty gym socks in a CAB file??
I work right now, and move files cleaning cabinets in an accounting department and it smells like dirty gym socks in some drawers for hanging files. I'm serious. My colleague says that smells like ass. All I can see that there is dust in the newspapers and I wipe with a cloth, but the smell remains. What could be? Does he live there, you think? Dan B: No, I did not find any underwear or socks. Only the paperwork and dust. V and I do all the new files for FY08 .... There is no way I'll do all files for new versions of 07 and 06! Whoa! I'll try Febreeze thing for a while and perhaps listening in the drawers?? No se. However, making eight new drawer full of files Manila are hanging out of the question! Yikes! I worked for Chrissakes!
Yes, I also happened to me, with my husband's printer. It was stored for some time, and had paper inside, and smelled bad! I noticed the smell of old books, too, some of library! I was looking for an answer like you, and I learned that the paper can achieve moisture, and thus the smell. There I found many ways to get rid of the smell, like baking soda on watering, or put it in a bag with things ziplog as a piece of fruit (grapefruit think it was), a bag of potpourri, linseed oil with a little aromatherapy and tied in a bag or even a piece of the coil ... (!) I think for the drawer, it must some old files, paper or filed, or perhaps even taken a little food and began to mold in which at some point ... What I do, I have broken all records, make new ones, and make copies of files From there ... if you use ... If not, spray with Febreze probably every day for a while ... or simply take Perhaps everything can be recycled?
